Well. Here I am, the very last post that I'll do on this blog! I can't believe that I'm leaving tomorrow morning, time has passed so quickly! This last weekend was absolutely brilliant; the students from Paris came and I had such a good time with them all. It was good to have lots of people my own age again, and it was just like being back in Manchester for the weekend! In some ways anyway...!

I have learnt so many things in the 6 weeks that I've been here. The obvious things, like working in a reception, cooking sausages in the snack bar, gardening, painting (I never did finish those bins...) and entertaining children. But I also learnt other, less obvious things, like how to get along with people from all different countries. I've met so many different people during my stay here, from all over the place, and I know that I'll keep in touch with them all!

Looking back, I've really enjoyed my 6 weeks here. There were times when I didn't appreciate the tranquility, but it really is a beautiful place. I need to thank a lot of people, mainly Thierry for giving me this opportunity. Also Mario, Tobias, Romano and Marie, the other workers here because they made the first 3 weeks a lot of fun. Several of the families too; the Cricks (stay in touch!), Carol and Phil, and Peter and Jane too for being very hospitable on my days off! And finally to the Parisian students; wicked weekend! A bientot!
